RESET Commerce explores new ways of saving and spending in our complex and digitalised world. These projects showcase how to empower, engage, and help people, organisations, and entrepreneurs improve their finances holistically and build resilient and sustainable businesses. RESET For the Planet explores new ways of giving back to the earth by replenishing, caring, and changing our consumption habits. The student work attempts to address consumers’ desirability for new services in a world shaken by the pandemic and climate change, and show how brands can embrace circularity, reduce carbon emissions and empower consumers to play a part. Joining us in the discussion are Ivan Mazzoleni, Cultural Energy Orchestrator, and Josie Warden, Head of Regenerative Design at The RSA.

Ivan Mazzoleni

CEO (Cultural Energy Orchestrator) at Flowe

Ivan Mazzoleni is CEO, Cultural Energy Orchestrator of Flowe, a benefit company of the Mediolanum Group, that aims at innovation and sustainability in the field of digital banking services and it is based on the BetterBeing Economy. At Flowe, Ivan is also responsible for Design and Development of corporate purpose and culture. Curious about Business Digital Transformation, Business Model Innovation and Design Thinking, Ivan looks at the world from ever-changing perspectives, in search of new models and solutions pioneering entrepreneurs. Previously, Ivan was a Business Digital Transformation Lead at Microsoft, where he gained over ten years of experience dealing with the development of business models, brands positioning, sales and storytelling. He holds an MBA from Bocconi University in Milan and a Master in Strategic Marketing & Operative at the Bologna Business School; completed his training at MIT Cambridge School of Management (Cybersecurity Leadership), at Stanford (Leading Change & Organizational Renewal), at the Insead in Fontainebleau (Master in Business Model Innovation) and Harvard Business School (Disruptive Innovation; Essential entrepreneurship). Ivan is an ICF (International Coach Federation) certified coach and adopts the coaching model S.F.E.R.A. by Prof. Giuseppe Vercelli with whom he collaborates. He is a ski instructor and federal coach and he dedicates his free time to the sports association Mondolè Ski Team of Pratonevoso, of which he is Vice President.

Josie Warden

Head of Regenerative Design, The RSA

Josie leads the RSA’s emerging regenerative design practice and works on research and action projects with business, civil society and government. This has included projects such as Cities of Making, reimagining the role of industry and manufacturing in European urban centres, Rethink Fashion, a learning programme for circular economy SMEs to increase their collective impact and a citizens assembly on rethinking the UK economy. She originally trained as a textile designer and has a Master’s degree in Leadership for Sustainable Development
