About

Hiroyuki Okuda is a Strategy and Innovation Consultant. As of 2024, he has approximately 6 years of consulting experience, having over 20 projects. He has been involved in developing new business strategies, long-term strategies, vision making, and sustainability strategies across a wide range of industries including consumer, chemicals, trading companies, finance, IT, telecommunications, media, and public sectors. With a deep understanding of the strategies of major Japanese corporations, he experienced a double promotion to Senior Consultant within 1 year at Deloitte Japan.


Hiroyuki majored in Social Psychology at Keio University, where he studied the principles of human behavior, dilemmas, and mechanisms related to social trends and issues. Building on this background, he enrolled in the Service Design Master’s program at the Royal College of Art in September 2023.


He has extensive expertise in sustainability, including decarbonization, and led the establishment of Deloitte’s cross-functional Biodiversity Strategy Team, spanning consulting and auditing departments.

In Japan, food waste in restaurants has become a significant issue that can no longer be ignored. TabeCoop is essentially a community initiative for Japanese independent restaurant owners, aiming to incentivize them to take a step back, consider food waste management and create a sustainable food chain.
