As a service designer, I am like a science fiction writer, filled with curiosity and imagination about the future. I focus on the present while predicting what lies ahead. Based on these predictions, I lay down multiple paths towards an ideal future, addressing the current world's issues. I place these possibilities at people's feet, confident that one of these paths will lead them to a brighter future.
I am a creative problem solver and open-minded explorer who centers my design practice around the sustainability in the city. With a strong emphasis on human-centered design, I strive to optimize user experiences while ensuring future sustainability. Collaboration and exchanging insights are integral to my working style, as I believe our diverse strengths are complementary and essential in creating innovative and sustainable designs.
For my graduation project URBAY, I aim to utilize my learnings from RCA to share my passion for urban design and propose solutions to the unsustainable traffic issues caused by last-mile delivery in cities.
Last-mile delivery significantly impacts cities by contributing to noise, pollution, and congestion. The rising trend in e-commerce will further increase the demand for logistics, necessitating a response from urban areas.
From the perspective of councils, we designed a parking bay booking platform to better assist delivery drivers in parking, reduce their impact on the road, improve delivery efficiency and, in consequence, enhance urban road sustainability.
