The advent of digital products and their software sparked my curiosity for aesthetics, design, and art.
My passion for interaction design and user experience design is unwavering. As a dedicated collector of both hardware and software for digital products, I persistently expand my knowledge and keep abreast of innovations in the field. I'm fascinated by exploring the world and meeting people from different cultures. I've been to 22 countries on 4 continents, for travel, volunteering, and summer school. Moreover, I'm skilled in board sports, such as skateboarding, snowboarding, sand-boarding, and surfing.
Technology alone is not enough, it's the marriage of technology with liberal arts and humanities that yields results that truly make our hearts sing. My aspiration is to design and create products that capture the wonder and happiness derived from the intersection of technology and humanities, I hope to share this with the next generation and those who may have been forgotten in the digital age.
Hermitage is a long-term service for independent creators to preserve, reuse, and publish their digital content.
The origins of my project are that I thought the increasing isolation of social media platforms deviates from the initial concept of the World Wide Web, which aimed to create an interconnected, accessible, and collaborative human information and knowledge space. With the collapse of some platforms, these personal digital contents have just faded away. I don't want people to lose their digital content and memories. I want to create a service that would allow people to show their granddaughters all their digital content from their younger days when they are older. Let's imagine digital life thirty years from now, there is a high probability that both Twitter and Instagram will cease to exist, and even the appropriate device for presenting tweets may no longer exist. Therefore, Hermitage would like to empower users to take control of their digital content by providing a self-owned, comprehensive, and user-friendly solution. By addressing the challenges of digital content impermanence, fragmentation, and isolation, I hope that my services will help create a more interconnected and accessible digital world.
White Eagle Appeal, a non-profit organisation that has been active in volunteering to help Ukraine since the early days of the war, has a strong volunteer base that has helped many of these refugees. These volunteers have worked hard from the early stages of figuring out how to operate to the more stable system they have developed today. This time RCA and Hellon have joined to help WEA to provide better help to these refugees with their existing resources. In order to achieve this, our group hopes to achieve these aims without increasing the current workload by understanding volunteers characteristics from their perspective. Building a volunteering experience programme, which is redesigned to allow for more effective coordination of volunteer skills and efforts, enhanced motivation and engagement, improved communication and collaboration, and increased support and loyalty.
