Active aging within the community (China)
The world population is getting older. With longer life expectancy, lower fertility rate and rising demands toward better well-being, seniors' innovation are in an urgent need in the healthcare system. China's ageing problems is getting severe, since the government does not have enough resources to deal with ageing problems, and Chinese society is growing older without getting wealthier. The one-child policy has created additional burdens in-home care. This final project wishes to explore the possibilities of incorporating community care services with home care to fulfil seniors’ lives and age actively in the future.
