Active aging within the community (China)
The world population is getting older. With longer life expectancy, lower fertility rates and rising demands toward better well-being, innovation for seniors is in an urgent need in the healthcare system. The aging problem in China is severe. Chinese society became older before getting richer, which means the government does not have enough resources to deal with these challenges. The one-child policy has created lots of burdens in home care. This final project wishes to explore the possibilities of incorporating the community care services with home care to fulfill seniors’ lives and age actively in the future.
