The involvement of participants in healthcare research is crucial in order to improve outcomes in medicine. At the same time finding, signing up, and onboarding subjects is one of the biggest challenges researchers face, often overtaking crucial time away from clinicians’ worthwhile schedules. Providing relevant information at the right time in an understandable and accessible way would support the research process immensely. It could also give subjects the confidence and trustworthiness to be open and ask questions about the process. We think there is an opportunity for creating pattern libraries and tools for researchers and investigators in order to create seamless experiences with participants.
