Food Waste Terminator - See it, Save it, Sorted.
There is noticeable food waste in the retailing sector (offline + online) in the Chinese market, mainly caused by inappropriate seller and consumer behaviours. For example, vendors sell oversized products, over-purchase and have inadequate food storage. These behaviours lead to food waste, profit loss, and broader social problems such as uneven food distribution and environmental damage. In this project, we focus on the retailing sector’s food waste phenomenon, helping stakeholders create awareness and encourage their participation to alleviate the social and environmental problems caused by food waste.
