Mobilise community for carers support
There are approximately 13.6 million carers in the UK, playing socially and economically invaluable roles. Supporting carers is an important yet complex job. Carers face many issues including mental health, knowledge development, work-life balance, and finance. And these are different from carers to carers based on their care role, age, family, and financial situation. There are public, charity, and private carers support services, but this complexity brings them difficulties. At the same time, many organisations and carers themselves are willing to support carers in the community. This project aims to mobilise the power of the community to design and deliver support for carers currently underserved.
