Junyi Hu is a multidisciplinary Service Designer with a diverse background, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the University of the Arts London, specialising in Interior, Spatial, and Furniture Design. To broaden her understanding of the impact of design across various fields, Junyi expanded her skills as a UI/UX intern designer at designaffairs, part of Accenture, where she honed more design skills while working with clients from a wide range of industries, including automotive, product development, and biopharmaceuticals. This experience laid a solid foundation for her transition into Service Design, blending her creative insight with strategic problem-solving.
During her time at RCA, she has engaged in projects that collaborate with industry professionals across multiple sectors, including retail industries, creative industries, aviation, financial services, and public sectors. These projects showcase her proficiency in delivering inclusive design solutions tailored to complex multi-stakeholder environments. She excels in using empathy, communication, design thinking, and storytelling to address both individual client needs and broader systemic challenges.
Junyi’s strong adaptability, industry vision, and collaborative approach enable her to tackle diverse design challenges effectively, she aims to utilise these skills and experiences to drive meaningful social impact through innovative Service Design.
